Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet foundation SPF15

Hey beautiful people! Hope you’re havinng a great day! So I wanted to review about one of my favourites from chanel..Have you ladies tried this foundation? I have combo skin- oily in T-zone area. I would go with applying my daily moisturizer then Firstly I apply this foundation with fingertips as suggested then I use a damp sponge or a sigma kabuki to even it out, since it helps warm the product for smoother & quicker application with fingers, Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet is incredible on my skin!

It’s nicely packaged in a sleek black hard plastic bottle-which I prefer over glass. The foundation is water based, has a light scent, coverage is light to medium, blends beautifully into skin quickly, & leaves your face with a light matte finish- not a dull matte finish, worth trying ladies! Too bad that it doesn’t have a pump on it like some other bottles do have still I would say not a big issue if your careful, The cap twists off and the product is easily squeezed out.

I must warn you however, that after shaking the bottle, lightly knock the base before opening the cap. I prefer using a light coverage so I only use a very light layer of product on my skin. This is true of all foundation I use, which is why I rarely use high coverage foundation. I’m between NC 15-20 and went for the shade in Beige Rose22 which matched me perfectly but obviously you can take the samples first from the counter to your best match.

I don’t think this would be a hit with dry skin people or those that want really full-coverage but I’m combo skin and I like a natural type coverage and I think this is amazing. It’s expensive but I’m the type of person that takes a year to finish foundation so I’d rather invest in one or two really amazing foundations rather than have a half dozen so-so ones that end up costing the same overall. I got this foundation for 200 riyals from Vavavoom in Riyadh,Ksa and you can ask them for samples as well and try it first.

PROS: My skin felt comfortable with this on all day, and it did not settle into lines nor emphasize pores. Does not turn oily, Easy to apply, Good colour match, Compact and portable packaging, Light-medium coverage.

CONS: Pricey, If not careful, product can explode out of the nozzle when the cap is removed.

WHO WILL LIKE THIS: Anyone who wants a long-lasting base that stays oil-free for hours.

Do let me know in the comment box what you all think about this foundation and what are your experiences?! 😀 Thankyou
